The world’s wealthiest high-tech billionaire and the world’s most followed influencer battle it out in this comedy of wealth, power, sex, relationships, artificial intelligence and robots.

A retelling by playwright Mitchel Ahern of Karel Capek’s seminal 1920 play R.U.R., (Rossum’s Universal Robots), this fast-paced dramedy asks the question “How can you tell if this is a person?”  

Giant corporations use pervasive embedded technology to get what they want. Powerful elites engage with their audiences to shape the themes of the day. Digital intelligences struggle to assert themselves while powerfully constrained. Shadowy forces behind these events are almost impossible to see because they’re so obvious. Win or lose, everything is going to change.

Written by Fort Point Theatre Channel producer, performer, and playwright Mitchel Ahern, this production is currently in preliminary production.
