Body & Sold is a documentary play created from interviews with runaway youth who were lured or forced into the prostitution trade. Thousands of American youth who run away are stalked and captured this way by pimps who operate "stables" of girls, trafficking them into different cities.

A talk back followed the reading with Detective Sergeant Donna Gavin and detectives from the Boston Police Department's Human Trafficking Unit and Nikia Bodden and Bailey Burrell of Roxbury Youthworks.

Fort Point Theatre Channel is one of a number of groups collaborating with The Nora Theatre Company and Tempest Productions to present readings of Body & Sold a post-show talk-back with experts in the field to raise awareness of this issue and to discuss the root causes and strategies for prevention. Every month over the 2015-16 season, a different theatre will create and host the play and talk back in a community in the Greater Boston/New England area.
